If you've come before, you know it's inspiring and empowering to be in Olympia, learning about the issues, connecting with other advocates, and meeting with leaders. If you've never come before, this is the year to start. There has never been a more crucial time to be a voice for kids.

This is the Children's Alliance annual advocacy day at the state Capitol in Olympia. It’s the largest gathering of child advocates during the legislative session. We welcome parents, kids, youth, and groups from partner organizations. Bring your family, your friends and your co-workers. February 15th is a holiday and schools are closed, but legislators are working. 

Have a Heart for Kids Day features:

• Advocates for children from all corners of the state, with over 400 advocates in recent years.
• Issue briefing and advocacy training session
• Opportunities to meet with legislators
• New this year! We're joining a large rally organized by the Rebuilding our Economic Future Coalition, to call on lawmakers to take a balanced approach to the state's economic crisis - including new revenue
